About NanoBMT

NanoBMT was established in the beginning of 2014 as a spin-off company of BMT. In one of the most prestigious techno parks in Turkey “Cyberpark (www.cyberpark.com.tr)” which is located in Beytepe attached to the Bilkent University Campus. The main objectives are as follows:

NanoBMT is a R&D company in the fields of:

Biomedical Science and Technology including: Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering used for/in “soft and hard tissue repair”, “implants”, “extra-corporeal system including artificial organs”, drug and gene delivery system; Medical Imaging and Sensing technologies – devices and components – at molecular and cellular levels includes diagnostic test systems, biosensors and arrays; Affinity Technologies for detection and separation; bioprobes (antibodies, oligonucleotides and bacteriophages); platforms  including “nanoparticles and nanostructures –surfaces” and sensing devices (QCM, optical devices – Fluorescence/luminescence/Raman and Mass spectrophotometers, and electrochemical devices) and used in diverse application both in medical therapy and diagnosis.

Biotechnology including: Biobased/Biodegradable/Compostable Polymers and Materials used for/in: daily lives as bioplastics such as films, sponges, disposable fast food items, etc. alternative to fuel based ones-; biomaterials for medical and veterinary uses; agricultural, food and other industries; Genetically modified microorganisms (bacteria, bacteriophages; yeast; algae’s, etc.) for biotechnological production and biobased detection; Biomass in detection treatment
